Elegance that people actually buy
About project
Bomboniere La Rosa sells party favours and ceremonial gifts — objects tied to weddings, christenings and the occasions people want to get right. The catalogue was extensive and the craftsmanship real, but the site made browsing it harder than it needed to be. The redesign rebuilt the interface around how customers actually shop: elegant enough to match what's being sold, warm enough to feel like a family business, and simple enough to get from a category to a completed order without second-guessing.

Project overview
The tension in this one was tone. Too polished and it loses the familiarity the brand runs on; too soft and it stops looking like quality worth paying for. The answer came from working the two together — a contemporary layout and clear hierarchy carrying warm imagery and a palette pulled from the products themselves. Working alongside another designer kept that balance honest, with each direction tested against the other before it went anywhere near a screen.

What I did
Redesigned the full interface — layout, visual language, product and category pages, and the calls to action that carry the purchase — mobile-first throughout, with flexible layouts and optimised assets so it holds up on a phone where most of this shopping happens. Navigation was restructured so the catalogue reads as collections rather than a list, and the whole thing was documented as a UI kit the brand can build on. Results: monthly online sales up 25%, time on site up 26%, and cart abandonment down from 85% to 67%.
